This is an antique boxing story, "The Croxley Master ~ A Great Tale of the Prize Ring" by ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE. 1907 1st edition, 1st printing; McClure, Phillips & Co.; New York. Color frontispiece. From a review: "A young Welsh medical student enters the boxing ring to fight for a 200-pound prize which will enable him to establish his own practice." The book measures 7" tall x 4 3/4" wide. Condition: Light soiling to the covers. The white cloth at the right edge of the front cover illustration has partially faded. Bumped cover corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Occasional staining/smudges to the pages. There is a small, dark foxing spot at the outer margin of pages 8-13. Tiny tear at the outer edge of page 3. Overall the book is in Good condition.
