New York/London: Harper & Brothers, 1946. Stated First Edition. Near FIne/Very Good+. Very clean green cloth boards with black title box, gold lettering on spine. Very little wear. Binding is tight & square, pages and edges are clean and bright. No names, writing or bookplates. 292 pgs. Clean dustjacket has been price clipped, has small bit of wear at top and bottom of spine and corners, closed edge tear (1") at front flap fold (bottom). Enclosed in new archival quality mylar cover. The story of Jonathan Kent, who in the early 18th century, became New York's first obstetrician.
