Item description from seller

First edition. Illustrated from photographs by the author. Slim octavo. Sewn wrappers with light edgewear and a tiny label shadow on the cover, near fine. Interior is fine. Features a history of the school and of the Stephens family, as well as information about alumni, and photographs of the grounds and classrooms. Published on the occasion of the school's 50th anniversary, the pamphlet prints a full-page 1919 letter from Franklin D. Roosevelt, then Assistant Secretary of the Navy, thanking the school for their help during the war. Uncommon.
