152pp + 8pp of publisher's catalogue + xvi prelims. Lime green cloth covered boards with gilt lettering on face and spine. Motif of a cottage on face. Green page edges all round. Rubbing to top and tail of spine. Shelf wear to corners. Previous owner's signature on ffep. B/w frontis and numerous other illustrations and line drawings of country cottages. All illustrations complete but one photograph opposite p68 is loose. Part of the publisher's Country Handbook series edited by Harry Roberts. Assume 1st edition.

Store Description

The Bookshop at Beech Cottage trades exclusively via the internet. I acquire most of my stock through a network of suppliers based in southern England. My particular interests are illustrated Private Press and modern Poetry. I also have a collection of Prospectuses and similar ephemera. I am careful to select only the better quality items for the Bookshop that are within my speciality and pass on those that are outside my remit. I am a former librarian and read for pleasure - as many booksellers do! I take great care of my books while they are staying at Beech Cottage and would only ask my customers that they do likewise.
