57pp. Printed in a limited, numbered edition of 600 copies on hammer and anvil watermarked laid paper. This is copy #456. Portrait of the author on frontispiece and another illustration engraved by Robert Gibbings. Yellow cloth quarter binding with gilt lettering on spine. Blue and yellow fan-tail decorated paper covered boards. Untrimmed fore edge and lower page edges. Clean and tightly bound inside pages. Laid in is a previous bookshop invoice dated 2006. Untrimmed orange dust jacket with black lettering and illustration. Shelf wear to top of spine of dust jacket and also to corners. Slightly dusty edges. All now protected in clear archival wrapper. Altogether in VG+ condition. Seller Inventory # 013691

The Bookshop at Beech Cottage trades exclusively via the internet. I acquire most of my stock through a network of suppliers based in southern England. My particular interests are illustrated Private Press and modern Poetry. I also have a collection of Prospectuses and similar ephemera. I am careful to select only the better quality items for the Bookshop that are within my speciality and pass on those that are outside my remit. I am a former librarian and read for pleasure - as many booksellers do! I take great care of my books while they are staying at Beech Cottage and would only ask my customers that they do likewise.
