A very nice copy - with dust jacket - of the rare first thus edition (1957) of Fortune s famous occult examination of Cosmic Law. Pages are excellent: no inscriptions or note, no obvious tanning or foxing at all. Bright and clean throughout (rather than the often browned pages we usually see in this edition). Just the original Aquarian Book Service stamp on FEP. Pages are far superior to the few other copies of this edition we have seen. Binding is completely tight. Blue boards are clean and in very good condition. DJ is unclipped and has retained its lovely deep blue cover colour. There are a couple of larger enclosed tears (with some hidden internal support) and a few very minor nicks etc. One very small missing segment on back corner, and general shelfwear here and there. The DJ is often not present at all in this edition and is very nice here. The true first (1949) was only circulated to the select few, and this posthumous edition is considered the first more widely disseminated version. A lovely copy.
