Madison and Milwaukee, WI: The University of Wisconsin Press, 1966. First edition. One in a series of volumes documenting the copious correspondence of Oldenburg, an important 17th century intellectual, theologian and scientist. Brown cloth lettered in gilt, frontis plate in black and white, light tan dustjacket printed in red and black, 678 pages. The book is in fine condition other than a small name stamp at the upper corner of the front free endpaper, looks and feels new and unread, tight binding, clean pages, no other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and in very good condiiton with a trace of edgewear and shelf soil to the light colored background, no chips or tears. First Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
