Add to basket8vo 8" - 9" tall; 190 pages; No date given [Circa 1929]. Self-published . Dated by gift inscription to front endpage, dated 1929. Bound in textured, faux leather cloth with pictorial title emblem embossed in relief to cover; a double boiler in gilt above author titling, also in a scrolled gilt panel. Gilt title details to spine dulled but legible. Soundly bound copy has some moderate toning to page stock. Several prior owner, names/gift inscriptions penned neatly to front endpages. A lengthy Date cake recipe penned in manuscript to a rear blank leaf. Mild scattered kitchen soiling to pages. Solid and still attractive; a very uncommon early 20th century cook book. Author did graduate work at Columbia and served as "Director of home Economics" at the detroit Stove Co. G++ to VG-.
