Paris: Didot Jeune, 1791. 12mo, 160 pp. original back wrapper, lacking from wrapper, otherwise a fine uncut copy, with the half-title. Preserved in a blue cloth slip-case. � First edition in this form. The text of the constitution of September 3, 1791, as adopted by the Assembl�e Nationale, and accepted by King Louis XVI on September 14, 1791. it established a constitutional monarchy with a clear separation of powers, declaring, however; that "la personne du Roi est invioable et sacr�e."
