Complete 4 volume set in original slipcase: v.1 Comedies (liii, 1080pp); v.2 Histories (1197pp); v.3 Tragedies (1471pp); v.4 Poems (xvi, 247pp.) A lovely set in quarter brown marbled cloth. All volumes apart from Poems with brown burnished edges. Spine and boards clean and bright with gilt blocked lettering on spines. Title-page vignettes and half-title headpieces from wood engravings by Reynolds Stone. Slipcase in fair condition for its age, with cloth showing through at base and edges. Split at bottom rear.
