"This volume contains Stephen Potter's four best-known: Gamesmanship, Lifemanship, One-Upmanship and Supermanship. With these Potter achieved perhaps the greatest distinction among humorists - he created a wholly new concept which in a few years has infiltrated all our minds. He revealed that a complete system of cut-throat affability barely suspected in the dark ages before Gamesmanship but deployed with urbane and delicate mockery throughout this inspired quartet. For many, Pottermanship is now virtually a way of life." Size: octavo.
