Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone [together with] Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince, and Deathly Hallows. New York: Arthur A. Levine Books / Scholastic Press, 1998–2007. A handsome and uniformly pristine complete set of the beloved U.S. Scholastic editions of J.K. Rowling's iconic Harry Potter series, the phenomenon that redefined modern children's literature and captured the imaginations of millions worldwide. All seven volumes are in Near Fine condition (books tight, crisp, and unread; pages bright and clean with no marks, inscriptions, or ownership signatures) with Fine dust jackets (bright, unfaded, no chips, tears, or creases; original prices intact). Illustrated throughout by Mary GrandPré. Key details: • Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (1998): First American edition, fourth printing (early subsequent printing from the original 1998 run; stated "First American Edition, October 1998" with number line descending to "4"). A very early issue, still highly desirable for its proximity to the true first printing. • Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets through Deathly Hallows (1999–2007): All true first editions, first printings with complete number lines and all first issue points present. This near-complete first-printing set offers exceptional shelf appeal with matching design elements, vibrant GrandPré artwork, and outstanding condition throughout, increasingly uncommon as these books were heavily read in their early years. An ideal collection for the discerning Potter enthusiast seeking a beautiful, high-grade U.S. set without the premium of a true first-printing Sorcerer's Stone. A magical opportunity to own a piece of literary history in superb condition. Ships carefully protected.…

Store description
Welcome to Rosco’s Book Store, a curated haven for collectors and lovers of fantasy and speculative fiction on AbeBooks. We specialize in rare, older, and collectible editions of the genre's most beloved series - focusing on true first editions/first printings, limited and signed copies, deluxe bindings, and complete sets in superior condition. Our passion lies in titles that have shaped modern mythology: the complete Harry Potter series, Percy Jackson and Rick Riordan's extended Riordanverse, J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth works (The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings in early impressions or deluxe formats), and other cornerstone series such as The Chronicles of Narnia, His Dark Materials, Discworld, The Wheel of Time, and A Song of Ice and Fire. Every book is carefully selected for its scarcity, condition, and historical significance. We seek out items that serious collectors value: correct issue points on first printings, original dust jackets in fine state, signed limited editions, lettered or numbered sets, and anniversary or illustrated deluxe editions produced in small runs. Provenance is documented whenever possible, and each listing includes detailed descriptions and multiple high-resolution photographs so you can assess condition confidently. As lifelong readers and collectors ourselves, we understand the thrill of owning a piece of literary history - the very edition that first introduced millions to Hogwarts, Camp Half-Blood, or the Shire. Our goal is simple: to help you acquire treasures that will be cherished for generations and, in many cases, appreciate in value. Whether you're completing a landmark collection, searching for the perfect gift, or discovering a rare variant you didn't know existed, we invite you to explore our inventory. Specific wants? Reach out - we maintain a wants list and actively source for collectors. Thank you for visiting. Step inside and let the adventure begin. …
