Item description from seller

A Very Good Book, Freshly Rebound. Text block is moderately toned with various spots of more pronounced darkening. Scattered unobtrusive foxing throughout, most notable to front and rear matter. Text is unmarked. Binding is tight and square. Collated Complete. A pagination oddity is present resulting from publisher's binding error: leaves containing pages 17-20 are inverted and out of order such that page 20 is where 17 should be and is upside down, followed by 19, 18, & 17, all with the same orientation. [ii], [2], 3-198pp. + [24 Advertisements]. A scarce work of 19th century distillation, gastronomy, and Americana. Not included in Cagle & Stafford. Listed in the checklists of Noling and Amerine & Borg. Rebound in Half Brown Morocco over Tan Cloth with Original Publisher's Cloth and Gilt "Complete Practical Distiller" Medallion Set in Front Board. Tan endpapers.
