Six flicker books contained in the original titled box. Illustrated. Unpaginated (30 pages). Sportoscope Company of America published "Animated Instruction" flicker books on Baseball (2), Tennis (12) and Golf (6). While the flip books may have been sold separately, this is a boxed set of the complete set of six one-sided golf flicker books produced by them. Tommy Armour's contribution is the Long Iron (D&J #A9660). Johnny Farrell is featured in three books, The Drive (D&J #F3040), The Grip (D&J #A3070), and The Putt (D&J #A3100). And Leo Diegel demonstrates The Niblick, and The Approach. Inexplicitly, these final two flicker books by Diegel are not listed in the Donovan & Jerris Bibliography. D&J do list a Sportoscope flicker by Diegel (D&J #D14650), but it is two-sided, entitled The Niblick/The Putt, and the date listed is 1931, the year before this boxed set, which again, is not referenced in D&J. A very scarce set. All the books are in Near Fine condition, barely used, covers protected in mylar. Name and address and '1933' written on blank rear covers. Original green paper covered box unrepaired and unbroken, in Very Good condition. Size: 64mo - up to 3" tall. Seller Inventory # 204715
