First edition. All four books bound into a single volume. A worthy candidate for repair/rebind as this book, in its present state, is a bit rough externally. Text appears to be complete, along with all plates, however it is possible that some might plates be lacking. It does include the final errata/ 'instructions to binder' leaf. 'Largely based on Newton. Greatly stimulated the construction of optical apparatus and is the most helpful historical treatise on light of its time'- Babson.
