A very good copy of the presumed first hardback edition of this compendium of regulations for the telecommunications industry from the 1950s. No Dust Jacket. Cover: red cloth covered boards with gilt lettering to front and spine; bright and clean but with small mark to bottom rear corner of front board; slight rubbing to all edges commensurate with age and use, some fading to spine but overall very good for its age. Internally: very clean and tightly bound; small discreet book plate from previous owner to front paste down and hand written in red "badly trimmed copy" to front fly leaf; no other markings or inscriptions; some darkening to page edges; otherwise in very good condition. Illustrated throughout in black and white and with 6 fold-out maps bound in at pp. 267-278, all in excellent condition. 416 pp. Also includes hand written note from previous owner stating that he was responsible for producing the book.
