8vo. xvi + 408 pp + 32 publisher's catalogue + errata page + 8 color pages. Fading to gilt on spine, brigher gilt picture of urn on front board. Spine rebacked well. Binding tight. Some soilage to cloth. Pages clean, toned. A bit of soilage to rear flypaper. Minor bumping to cloth binding on edges. Very interesting treatise on taste at time public was becoming more aware of taste and the beautification of home and garden was becoming a concern of the ever growing middle class.
