Errata sheet laid in. 248 pp 4to. This book attempts to write the history of Colorado post offices from the territorial days to the modern era - 1859-1970. The first post office was authorized for March 22, 1859 in Coraville. The gold rush in 1859 started the settlement of Colorado and the establishment of a more formal postal system that included many mining camps that were quickly discontinued. This book includes in alphabetical order post, date established, date discontinued, and county location. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket. Seller Inventory # 015517
