Please find a very nice copy of: "Colonel Effingham's Raid" by Berry Fleming. This novel was selected at the February Book-of-the-Month Club selection for 1943, and the Club News is tipped in at the rear endpaper. I will include a photo of the first page of the Club News which will give you a sense of the novel. Condition: I am also pleased to be able to say that this book is in very good condition. The dust jacket has some minor edge wear at the top & bottom of the spine but is otherwise whole and handsome. The hard covers are clean and bright and unbumped. Inside, a former owner has left her inked name on the front endpaper but that is the only mark I found in the book. The interior pages are clean and bright and without toning or foxing of any kind. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. I would have prefer that the Club News not be tipped-in on the rear endpaper but it is. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
