Item description from seller

Three volumes. Small 4to. Original linen spines with paper labels and pale blue paper over boards. Very good. Exceptionally tight and attractive, with just the mildest bit of edgewear; uncut. A lovely, bright first edition of the first three volumes of the catalogue of one of the most famous 19th century collections covering many centures' worth of choice autograph material from around the world, though of course quite strong in British material. The first volume covers A-B (Abd-el-Kader to Lord Byron), the second volume covers C (William Cadogan to William Curtius), and third volume covers D (Anne Lefevre Dacier to Eliphalet Dyer). Morrison (1821-97) was a renowned English autograph collector.
