2005. 5 volume set in slipcase. Colour illustrations by Philip Bannister. Vol.1 (introduction by Andrew Lycett) - xvii, 446pp - Plain Tales from the Hills, Soldiers Three and other stories; Vol.2 - vii, 504pp - Wee Willie Winkie and other stories and Life's Handicap; Vol.3 - vii, 507pp - Many Inventions and The Day's Work; Vol.4 - vii, 576 - Traffics and Discoveries, Actions and Reactions and A Diversity of Creatures; Vol.5 - ix, 591 - A Diversity of Creatures (continued), Debits and Credits and Limits and Renewals. The books have gilt titles and decorations to spines and upper boards. Minor mark to the spine of volume 2 and 4, otherwise the books are in excellent condition with no inscriptions. The slipcase has been taped together along one of the bottom edges. There are a few marks/some soiling to the case. PLEASE NOTE: Heavy set so extra will be needed for shipping to non-UK customers.
