True first British printing of this single volume edition, 1932. No jacket. With a frontispiece of the author. Brown boards with gold lettering to spine and front are good with a few marks, little pushing/bumping to corners, minor darkening to spine, the odd small scratch, odd small bump/rub to edges and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/small splits to the cloth) to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Rough cut page edges and bottoms. Top of pages dyed brown (little spotted). Pages are a little tanned. Mild foxing/odd small mark to page edges, tops and bottoms. Previous owner's name in pen inside front board. Occasional foxing/odd small mark to pages (especially first and last few pages).
