Orig. published in other sources, this is the first collected edition of 31 of his best ghost stories, in 647 pages.A FIRST EDITION, First Printing, from 1931, this small octavo (5.5" x 8.25") has dull black cloth-covered boards stamped in (faded) gilt lettering to front, completely faded lettering to spine. Condition is VG: clean, binding strong & straight, pages creamy white, bright, & unmarked save for former owner's partially torn bookplate to ffep. Moderate rubbing to extremities & bumped corners.
