Bright gilt title with a row of gilded cocktail glasses and mixing spoons on the front boards with numerous cocktail glasses in blindstamp below the title. Very good plus condition with a touch of darkening to bottom of the right-hand corner of the rear boards. Faint rubbing to the leather extremities With previous owner's favorite cocktails typed out and pasted in on the front endpaper ("Max's Cocktail"; "Everett's Wine") and two pasted on the rear paste-down ("Druggist's Cocktail" and "The Elliott Cocktail." The half title page: "The Cocktail Book" is printed in black and red Gothic lettering as is the title page. All 66 pages present. Rear endpaper missing. With capital Red Gothic Lettering to the first word of all sections and cocktails, wines, etc. throughout. Top edges gilded. A very handsome and collectible cocktail book for the mixologist. Rather a scarce book. First Edition with copyright of 1900 and title page date of 1901.
