First edition, 1st printing. Bright, clean & tight copy, unread, in AS NEW condition. "Hot on the claws of Scotch & Toilet Water? and Tequila Mockingbird, renowned New Yorker cartoonist Leo Cullum returns with 113 feline funnies. No cat is safe from his wit as he playfully pokes fun at the true emotions behind those cute, cuddly--and in Cullum's rendering--lumpy exteriors. Are they expressing languid elegance or sheer laziness? Are we beloved cat owners or simply cat feeders? And what are those inscrutable looks hiding? Maybe nothing. Some of the cat thoughts and words he uncovers are: from one feline friend to another, 'I'm expected for dinner around seven. Other than that I'm completely free;' from Rene DeCat, 'I purr therefore I am;' and from a political animal, 'I'm totally bipartisan. I eat as many birds as I do mice.'" [jacket copy] Pristine hardcover w/sharp corners & crisp edges, a square & tight binding, all in an unmarked, intact jacket.
