8vo in ornately blind embossed brown cloth covered boards, gilt lettering to spine and gilt embossed portrait to front cover, brown end-papers, red printed page-block edges, xvi + 307pp, index, plus 6 plates at rear on stiff thick paper (two are coloured) CONDITION: An extremely well preserved FINE very clean and tight clearly unread copy (cloth at spine ends very slightly nicked, plates slightly foxed).
