Leather typically rubbed along joints with small chip at head of spine, covers somewhat grubby from age and use. x,11-196 pp. Lacks front flyleaf, title leaf, and another (dedication?) leaf (opens on p. v), otherwise complete. Former owner's inscriptions inked on upper Preface page and inside back cover. Interior foxed, generally light to moderate, severe to a few pages. 1st ed.: 1835 (dated on lower front cover). Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
