The first edition of August Derleth's collection of 'Solar Pons' detective stories, published after his death. The first edition. In the publisher's original cloth with the original clipped dust wrapper. One of only four thousand copies published. This collection of detective stories was written by August Derleth, and was published after Derleth's death in 1971, having written and revised these works before his passing. The stories all follow Solar Pons, a fictional detective and a homage to Sherlock Holmes. In the publisher's original cloth with the original clipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. The wrap is very smart with only sunning to the spine and a small chip to the front fly leaf joint. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages. Fine.
