Light grey cloth cover with gilt lettering on spine. Tight. A beautiful copy. 10 1/2" x 13 1/4". DJ: Tiny smudges, no tears, very well preserved. Chiparus produced small scale sculpture works in bronze and ivory -- a technique known as chryselephantine -- that ranks among the best of any sculpture from the period. The author focuses on the bronze and ivory pieces, outlining the development from idea through finished piece, with illustrations of plasteline models that document the artists working methods. Over 103 full color plates. We, at Coalesce Bookstore, thank our customers and supporters, acknowledging that what we do would not be possible were it not for each of you. Books over 2.2 lbs require additional shipping cost outside US, approximately $40USD ($25USD for Canada).
