Snugly bound in original olive green cloth with decorative architectonic panel designs in cream to cover and spine with title lettering brightly in gilt. Title and front matter printed in blue and black. Distinctive fraktur style bookplate of highly regarded historian of early American folk art and architecture, Henry Kauffman, is mounted to the front pastedown. Cloth lightly crimped at spine ends with just light rub at extremities. Occasional light foxing to contetns; light foxing to front edge. Illustrated with photographs and drawings of designs.
