First edition of 1937. The dust jacket is fair, tanned along the top edge and spine panel, and split at the front spine fold about hlfway up, where the split angles and moves up the back spine fold. Each contributor made a special visit to the cheese district of the cheese he writes about, visiting the old farmsteads and homesteads where cheese is produced adding first hand observations and fresh insights on the production methods and processes. 181 pp. Food, Cheese, England, Scotland, Ireland, Illustrated, Shepard.
