1st ed. 16p; vignette title-page. Disbound pamphlet. The story is about a ship which has foundered in the harbour of a small port. Some of the locals are happy because the ship's cargo will be swept onto the beeches at the next tide. Others are appalled at this greediness and disregard for the loss of life that the sinking entailed. In short, it is a moral tale praising honesty and condemning greed and selfishness. A very good copy.
