2 vol set in large 4to size(11 5/8 x 9 ins). Bound in white buckram with title in black. Limited edition being no. 77 of 400 copies. Vol 1: lxxii + 200pp inc map & illustrations some of which are double page. Map & charters are illustrated in colour. Vol 2: xii 160pp, frontispiece + 29 plates. Covers the period from 1225 - 1656. Includes history and archaeology of the site. The spine is sunned. Light rubbing & bumping to the spine ends. Light soiling to boards. Inside, clean with no inscriptions. Very occasional spot.
