First edition, first state, with the all important: six lines of publishing info, (SEE PHOTO) red cloth boards with blind stamp of to the front board, mustard yellow end-papers and maroon top edge. The boards and corners are worn but the interior is generally clean. The boards are worn and marked.The edge is slightly dirty from dirty fingers. DJ is edgeworn and has a ringstain to front cover but has an ISBN number on the rear cover. This is a classic children's book and Dahl's most famous.
