Hardback, full-calf, with later crude leather spine. Marbled end-papers. 12.5cm x 7cm. Pp. [5], 66, 21 (second work bound at rear, with a different author). 2nd Issue 1659 - all three editions were published in 1659. This is the view of a French man first visiting England, with immediate complaints from his arrival in Dover, and is offended (unsurprisingly!) by children throwing garbage at him in the streets of the metropolis. Binding is slightly rubbed and worn. Bookplate of James Bindley to front pastedown. A few pages have more lower margin trimmed, but text never lost. Scarce. (an17). Seller Inventory # AN17BRWN1904
