A good hardback first edition, but missing the dust jacket. The boards are lightly marked and there is a bit of creasing in the top right-hand corner of the upper cover, but the binding is secure and the main contents are clean. There is some foxing to the prelims, and a previous ownership name at the top of the front free endpaper. There is also some foxing to the final leaves, and a few small blemishes. Overall, a good hardback first edition, but with some foxing at the beginning and end of the book, and a previous ownership name at the top of the front free endpaper. This volume measures approx. 20.5cm X 14.5cm (ie it's not a pocket edition).
