Set in Kennerly and Imprint types. Illustrated with woodcuts by Herbert Rooke, Robert Gibbings, Philip Hagreen, Vivien Gribble, and drawings (some in colour and tipped-in) by Claud Lovat Fraser. 'Decoy duck' press mark by Eric Gill. Decorative endpapers by Robert Gibbings and Claud Lovat Fraser. Brown paper-covered boards with title labels. Boards a little worn and soiled. A very good set. The Decoy Press never had any machinery and was just a name, the name of Joseph Thorp's cottage in Sussex. It had a parttime, one-man staff in the person of Joseph Thorp and could be a convenience when it was impolitic to use the Curwen Press imprint. 'Change' appeals for a better and fairer post-War society and warns of the dangers of a material outlook. ((Kirkus 69, Gill 320, Millard 360 & 361, Simon pp.149 & 223.).
