Original 1804 first edition of Davies' "Celtic Researches on the Origin, Traditions & Language, of the Ancient Britons; with Some Introductory Sketches, on Primitive Society." The book is overall in good condition with some signs of wear and age. It appears to have been rebound sometime around the mid 1800's. The covers have moderate wear with some wear to the cloth along the length and to the extremities of the spine. The boards have some corner wear and edgewear. The interior is toned from age with some scattered foxing. Page 427 has an old paper patch repair to the top margin which does not affect any text. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, tiny chip or tear, minor stain or marking, etc. The book measures approximately 10 1/4 inches by 6 1/2 inches and is 561 pages long with an additional index at the rear.
