Among the former will be found some exquisite Neilli and brilliant examples by Albert Durer, the Visschers, Suyderhoef, Berghem, and Rembrandt, including the celebrated impression of his hundred guilder piece, in the first state, from Sir Charles Price's collection, acknowledged to be the finest in existence. The more recent series includes the best works of Morghen, Longhi, Muller, Desnoyers, Toschi, and other engravers, especially Wille, in the earliest and finest states. The English School contains a large number of important engravings by Hollar, Holgarth, Sharp, Strange, and the most complete collection that has ever been formed of the works of Wollett, in a great variety of states. The engravings are generally in the earliest proof states, and are in most admirable condition." The collection realized over £6000.
