Item description from seller

First edition. Octavo. 233pp., errata slip tipped in. Halftone illustrations of the various chapter seals. Half-leather gilt and cloth over boards. Tiny, faint sliver of a dampstain on the last few leaves, cloth peeled a bit from front board, one preliminary leaf wrinkled, a few corrections in pen and pencil, a sound, about very good copy. Founded at Union College in 1833, at the time this was published, the fraternity later spread to several other Eastern and Midwestern Colleges, and still exists today. Among the list of fraternity members printed here are numbered future President Chester A. Arthur and (then fledgling) author Horatio Alger. Although other catalogues of the fraternity exist *OCLC* locates no separate copy of this edition.
