A handsome, presentable copy. First American edition of the record of Plov's life as a working Danish farmer, which was first serialized in a Danish newspaper. Jaegermester Plov is the pen name of Gunnar Nislev.The color illustrated dust jacket is a fine example of the era's genre, depicting a stylized, lush farm amid rolling hills. Dust jacket now enclosed in a removable, clear archival sleeve. .
