Previously published in hard covers by Gollancz in 1928 - the book shows the first publication incorrectly as 1926 however. Number 738. Browning to the white areas of the front and rear panels and the spine. Reading crease and edge rubbing to the spine with a little chipping at the top. Browning to the pages and the insides of the covers with the page edges quite heavily browned. Traces of some writing in pencil at the top of the first page, a spot to the title page and the reverse and a crease to the top corner of the final page but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked.
