Item description from seller

Chicago: P. T. Sherlock, 1880. A fact-filled, and very anti-English, screed detailing the consequences of the occupation of Ireland. This is a Very Good (Minus) copy of the First Edition. Green embossed cloth binding with gilt lettering. The text is clean, bright, and still supple. Both gutters have split and the endpapers in the front are loose but present. Externally the binding is a bit faded and shows some rubbing on the margins with some bumping. The book us uncommon, and rather important, but please note the condition issues. Although they are minor, Quercus offers this as a Binding Copy, in need of some repair or restoration. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good Minus/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
