First Edition. First Printing. War Economy Standard. Original red boards are a little worn and dirty, corners bumped, spine has a slight lean and is faded. Title, Author and Publisher to spine in black. Title author and Publishers emblem to front board in black. Published with pink pages presumably because of paper shortages during the war. Internally in excellent condition, no inscriptions or foxing. Only fault is where two pages have been stuck together and then pulled apart. Between pages 16 & 17 affecting area approx 8mm x 30mm over the two pages. A interesting and unusual copy of the true english first edition. Seller Inventory # 000277
