Item description from seller

A Good, still solid copy of this First Edition (1926) with Girl Guide and Gypsy interest. No dust jacket. Blue pictorial boards, bright on covers but slight fading and wear on spine although the type is still strong and illustration is good. Corners are slightly bumped. The book has an interesting libris plate on the fly leaf stating the book was given as a prize to Winnie (Winifred Anderson) in 1929-1930 at Edinburgh Ladies College. Winifred’s name is also stamped discreetly on the title page. A nice mono frontispiece of wagon/tents and pot boiling over fire. Foxing and some brown spotting is evident on early and late pages in particular and on block ends. 186pp.
