Review
'.. its translators are creative and productive contributors to the literature on cortex as well, qualifying them all the more for the task of conveying Cajal's thoughts on the subject. ' The book, is well composed. The authors have been skilful and thorough in their attempt to guide the reader through what could have been a confusing mess.' TINS
'It reads almost as a modern bestseller of a mystery or detective novel, where one of the greatest stories of scientific discovery unfolds before our eyes.' Neuroscience, Vol. 36, No. 2
'This book should be on the bookshelves of every institution and individual enagaged in the study of the neurosciences.' Neuroscience, Vol. 36, No. 2, 1990
