Paper covered boards with Brick red buckram cloth quarter binding. 175 x 130 mm approx. 42pp + 6 pp of publisher's adverts. Full page and vignette woodcut illustrations. First Edition 1939 of this charming children's book which has since been re-issued by Potter books. VG (Book- Moderate shelf wear to cloth at head and tail of spine with a little shelf soiling. Light foxing spots to white paper covers with rubbing at corners of front board. Erased pencil name and address to front free end paper. Binding sound and contents clean with no finger soiling).
