Harcourt Brace Jovanovich. New York. 1982. 245 pages. First edition, second printing with B C D E letter-line. Original first issue, first state DJ with $11.95 price intact on flap AND only one address on rear DJ flap (no San Diego address.). Later DJs added a San Diego address that is not present on first state DJs. Rear of DJ states YOU CANT KEEP A GOOD WOMAN DOWN at the top. There is no mention of the Pulitzer Prize anywhere on the DJ. DJ shows minor edge rubbing with three tiny chips and a small rub-chip on fold. As for book, it is fine. Bright, clean and tight, inside and out. Book is in seemingly unread condition. Fine/VG+.
