pp: 351. A volume in a series of six books published under the general title of 'Studies in Social Discontinuity'. The author argues against the belief that powerful export companies exert an undue influence on the patterns of development in a country, for example, Brazil. Font study shows that a group of small coffee exporters banding together, are able to defy the power of the much larger exporters. The appendices include a bibliography, and index. This is a near fine copy in dust jacket.
