- FIRST EDITION (just the '1891' date present on title page with NO other dates or printings mentioned)- This is NOT an ex-library book and it is NOT a reprint edition- BINDING is ORIGINAL red cloth spine (quarterbound) and dark blue hardcover with titles and decorations in gold on cover (ALL GOLD still with luster and legible); binding and text are very neat, clean, bright and solid, VG with NO extraneous writing or bookplates. Just light wear to extremities, bumping to corners, and light handling soil to covers. Overall, a very nice, SOLID COLLECTOR COPY of an UNCOMMON SHORT HISTORY and TRIBUTE to the EARLY SOLDIER and the beginnings of PATRIOTISM.
